While soap bars inherently do not support the growth of bacteria in their dry, never used state, bacteria can live on the bar/bar scum if not properly dried. To keep everything in a good form, we suggest turning the tin upside down to allow it to properly drain/dry after use. If your Solid Dish Soap properly dries, you do not need to be concerned about bacteria build-up.
